Privacy? What privacy?
A few years ago I put on a forum called “Are you googling your privacy away?” and it mainly focused on search engines keeping potentially telling information about you. It’s a big concern for me as it should be for everyone. We are as safe as the information we keep private. Then, Google was fighting a government subpoena not to hand over their customer searches. Although it would be nice to think that Google was protecting our privacy, in actuality I think they were just protecting their algorithms. If our privacy was such a concern to them, their bots wouldn’t be working over time to amass market information that they can turn into profit BUT I digress. I came on here to tell you about a recent article I read and I just got nostalgic or rather wanted to give some background thoughts.
On that note, Google is fighting to keep its privacy policy off of its home page as they feel it would clutter their otherwise unclutter page.
